Cotton hand dyed floss - Montage

Companion Colors: 

The base thread is 6-stranded white DMC embroidery floss. Each skein is unique as it is hand dyed.

Each skein is one continuous length.

10yd skein is equivalent to 1.14 skeins of DMC floss
25yd skein is equivalent to 2.87 skeins of DMC floss
50yd skein is equivalent to 5.74 skeins of DMC floss

Pictures are as accurate as possible of the colors. Monitors/Mobile can make the colors appear differently.

Floss will be slightly lighter than the skein when stitching unless you use all 6 strands. 

I try my hardest to have each dye lot match but chances are there will be slight discrepancy so please keep this in mind if you need to purchase more. If you're needing more than what's available, email me. I'll be happy to dye enough in one dye lot for you.

I use procion fiber reactive dye, which is a permanent and colorfast dye. I soak and rinse my thread twice and then wash with a commercial detergent. Most thread should be colorfast.

Please keep in mind that very dark colors may have residual dye left after washing. To check the colorfastness, please soak a small piece in cool water and your soap preference (I recommend either dawn or orvus ) before stitching if you're worried. I have no control over which soaps are used so colorfastness is not guaranteed.
